Gene won a Paris Prize in Photography for the second year in a row (the results were announced yesterday). His image Sheltering In Place has been awarded a Silver in the Fine Art / Still Life category for non-professionals in Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3) . See Paris Prize 2020.
Mitch Nelles has 4 images from his Coastside Series in Half Moon Bay’s Coastal Arts League Gallery for its upcoming show, “Celebrate Life”. Mitch’s image above, HMB Fisherman, received First Place Honors. The show runs from September 17 through October 19, 2020. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, from 1-4PM.

Mitch Nelles’ “Hoops” series has been selected as a Spotlight Award winner for Black and White Magazine’s 2020 Portfolio Contest. Images from this series will be published in the April 2021 edition of this prestigious publication.
