The Bay Area Photographers Collective in Support of Bay Area Black Artists

An Online Fundraiser: Thursday, Sept. 17 - Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020

The Bay Area Photographers Collective is raising funds in support of Black artists in the Bay Area. We’re offering original, signed, fine art photographs by BAPC members for sale at an affordable price to raise funds for San Francisco’s African American Arts and Culture Complex (AAACC). All proceeds will benefit the AAACC.

From aaacc.org: “The AAACC is a vibrant space for Black creatives to gather, share and learn as well as for the community to experience Black art and culture, dedicated to providing a wide variety of art and cultural programming for youth, adults and families, including visual, digital, and performance. The resident company list includes some of the most celebrated African American arts and culture organizations in the region.” To learn more visit aaacc.org and follow current happenings and announcements on their Instagram.

We are a nonprofit organization committed to building a community of photographers. Our work ranges from fine art to documentary, color to black and white, traditional darkroom to digital imaging. We nurture each other’s professional and artistic growth through member activities such as artist talks, portfolio reviews, workshops, salons, and exhibitions.
