Why is BAPC doing this?

In light of the current worldwide struggle for racial justice, we have been considering what BAPC, as a small arts organization, can contribute towards positive, impactful change to help end systemic and institutional racism. We are listening, learning, and working on short- and long-term sustainable strategies to support the Black Lives Matter movement, in particular through support of Black artists and arts organizations. We’ve made our own donation to San Francisco’s African American Arts and Cultural Complex (AAACC), a 501(c)(3) organization, and wish to provide additional support to AAACC through this fundraiser. 

How can you help?

Buy a print, or several! Your purchase will support the AAACC’s work to help Black artists in the Bay Area. Please share this fundraiser with your friends, family, co-workers, everyone!

What are the key details about the photographs?

  • The photographs are professional quality inkjet prints on 8.5 x 11 inch archival photo paper, signed by the artist. 
  • The images are unmatted and unframed.

When is the sale taking place?

The sale will be live for only 25 days, from midnight (PDT) Thursday, September 17 to 11:59pm (PDT) on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

What is the price?

All of the photographs are priced at $100. California residents will be charged sales tax. Shipping will be provided by the BAPC artists.

How do I order?

  1. Enter quantity of selected photographs below.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and enter your Shipping Details and Credit Card information.
  3. Click Place Order at the bottom.

Do I get a tax deduction for buying a print?

No, the value received is greater than the price paid.

Where do you ship?

We can only provide shipping within the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

When will I get my print? Do you offer expedited shipping? 

Prints will be shipped within two weeks; however, please be patient because both the pandemic and USPS issues may affect shipping time. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for expedited production or shipping. 

Is there a limit on the number of prints of the same image I can order?

Since this is a charitable event, we are limiting the number of prints of the same image to a maximum of 3 copies per customer. (No reselling, please.)

Can I publicly exhibit any prints I buy?

Not without prior written permission; all copyright protections apply. Please contact the individual artist(s) to discuss exhibition opportunities.
