Maria Budner’s photograph Circles and Lines has been included in the juried online exhibition Circles, Squares, Triangles at online art exhibition site Exhibizone.com.
The exhibition runs January 5 to March 5, 2024.
Ari Salomon will have two images from his series 18 Rue Dugommier in the group show Home at The Drawing Room.
The theme of this show is broadly designed to invite works from local artists that address a multitude of issues including the social and physical constructs of housing, immigration, identity and the histories of urban and land development. The theme is also intended to explore what the concept of “HOME” and what it provokes and inspires in each of us; be it emotional, sensory or physical.
Gray Loft Gallery’s winter photography show, Pretty in Pink, will include works from no fewer than seven BAPC members. Rusty Weston is a finalist in FOCUS Photo LA’s Summer/Fall 2023 juried exhibition. The 20 finalists will display their work at Galerie XII in Bergamont Station in LA in mid-November. The jurors, Valerie-Anne Giscard d’Estaing (the gallery owner), Eve Schillio, and Scarlet Cheng, selected “Island/Tunnel” from his series Unnatural World.
Another image from that series, Valley/Burn, is in the online gallery of the 2023 International Juried Exhibition at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, opening in mid-December.
Gene Dominique has three photographs in the December 2023 issue of Black and White Magazine– the Smartphone Contest Winners edition. The December issue is the fourth edition of the Smartphone Contest, where ten photographic categories are represented. Gene’s images are in the Documentary, Place, and Portrait categories.
Ari Salomon will present an installation of his series 6 Feet Apart as a solo exhibition in conjunction with the Head On photo festival. This typology documents the ubiquitous ground markers directing us all to keep 6 feet apart to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Presented on the floor and walls, it invites viewers to reflect on how our lives have changed due to the pandemic. Learn More.
Chris Stevens-Yu and Susan Harding will have a joint exhibition entitled It’s a Total Street Show at Wheelhouse of Willow Glen in San Jose, CA.
The show runs November 15 through January 10, 2024

Ari Salomon will participate in the 15th Annual 50|50 Show from Sept 8 – Oct 9. This is an annual fundraiser where the gallery invites 50 artists to each create a grid of 50 artworks. Each artwork is 6″ square. Juror is Marianna Stark. See Ari’s site for the schedule and links to ticketed and free events.
